*Government Rebates For Going Green: 

  •  
    • $625.00 - $780.00 for a High Efficiency Furnace with a Dc Variable speed motor & is a minimum of 92% efficient. Must be Energy Star
    • $600.00 for a Gas Boiler with a minimum of 85% efficiency. Must be Energy Star
    • $315.00-$370.00 for a Tankless/Instantaneous Water Heater with an energy factor of 80% or better.
    • $325.00 for an HRV (Heat Recovery System)
    • $250.00 for an energy star Air conditioner
    • These are the  most common rebates being offered that reflect Ontario’s Heating & Air Conditioning  industry …
      (Replacement systems only)
    • You must have a home energy Audit performed BEFORE you have any products installed that qualify for these rebates.
    • The only exception is if your system is deemed unsafe or is leaving you with no heat or hot water. Only then can you go ahead and install a new system.  You must call an auditor to schedule an appointment within 3 days of having the emergency equipment installed in order to qualify for the rebates. Once you have called to set up the appointment you have 30 days to have the actual appointment completed.
    •  There is a onetime fee of about $325.00 to conduct the Energy Audit which only takes about 1 hour. This fee is minimal compared to what you get back. Ask us about reputable companies to use.
    • The Audit is usually done by a professional company such as a home inspection company that has been authorized to conduct the Audits. The Audits themselves generally take approximately 1-1.5 hours and are done at your home.
    • The Auditor will take care of all paperwork necessary to get the rebates.
    • $125.00 for an Energy Star high efficiency Furnace with a DC Variable speed motor that is a minimum 92% Efficient.
